BACKGROUND:

On August 15, 2023, the Board directed staff to prepare an ordinance to the Clark County Code to provide for the licensing and operations of personal delivery devices. The proposed ordinance adds definition of terms, establishes findings, applicability, license application requirements, fees, operational requirements, reporting requirements, and penalties.

The proposed ordinance was introduced by the Board of County Commissioners on August 20, 2024, and a public hearing was set for September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Staff recommends approval of the ordinance to amend Title 7, Chapter 7.115 (new) of the County Code.
