BACKGROUND:
On March 5, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 606920-23 for Russell Campus Building & Fire Prevention Covered Parking to SHF International, LLC (NBE) in the amount of $5,016,029 for the construction of a 3-phased new covered parking area to the existing employee parking lot. Scope of work included landscape removal, hydro excavating, saw cutting, asphalt removal and disposal for a new painted metal deck covered parking structure with cast-in-place concrete caisson footings and installed light fixtures under new covered parking structure.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract: • The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 390 calendar days from the date specified after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. • Included the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
Change Order No. 1 provided for all labor, material, equipment, and services to expedite phase 1, 2 and 3 shop drawings and extended Contract by 97 calendar days.
Approval of Change Order No. 2 will provide for the design and upgrade of the structural I-beam carports. The attached Change Order No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
SHF International, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
