BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and Clark County have entered into interlocal contracts for the design and construction of projects identified on RTC's annual Capital Improvement Program. The projects listed below are currently funded from Fund 05, Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax. Due to Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax funding constraints, the projects will now be funded from Fund 72, Fuel Revenue Indexing.
The supplemental interlocal contracts will change the funding for the projects listed below:
• Carey Avenue, Nellis Boulevard to Toiyabe Street (PW.R016MFT)
• Jones Boulevard, CC-215 to Tropicana Avenue (formerly Jones Boulevard, Russell Road to
Tropicana Avenue) (PW.R033TFT)
• Laughlin to Bullhead City Bridge (PW.R064AFT)
• Harmon Avenue, Maryland Parkway to Pecos Road (PW.R112DFT)
• Fort Apache Road, Blue Diamond Road to Huntington Cove Parkway (PW.R113HFT)
• Cactus Avenue, Fort Apache Road to Buffalo Drive (PW.R147BFT)
• Residential Streets Pavement Reconstruction No. 104 (PW.R175AFT)
• Sloan Lane, Vegas Valley Drive to Ruby Creek Drive (PW.R213AFT)
RTC has prepared the supplemental interlocal contracts for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the supplemental interlocal contracts at its meeting on May 22, 2025.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental interlocal contracts as to form.
