BACKGROUND: 

This ordinance is deemed necessary in order to reduce the amount of time that an applicant or licensee has to appeal the denial, revocation, suspension or nonrenewal of a license to make the application or licensing process more efficient.

The proposed ordinance amends certain regulations pertaining to the time to appeal a decision of the director of the Department of Business License.   

Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Title 6, Chapter 6.04, Section 6.04.090 of the Clark County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for November 17, 2026, at 10 a.m.
