BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood control improvements. On April 8, 2021, RFCD approved an interlocal contract for design of the Blue Diamond Channel between Amigo Street and Haven Street project (Public Works No. PW.FCLA16P). The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on May 4, 2021.

Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the contract for the project from June 30, 2026 to October 31, 2030, as design work will begin this year. The current total contract value for the subject project is $1,881,254.

RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on June 11, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
