The initial Contract amount was $9,118,816.14, Amendment No.1 increased the Contract amount by $50,000, Amendment No. 2 increased the Contract amount by $446,850, Amendment No. 3 increased the Contract amount by $1,140,325, Amendment No. 4 increased the Contract by $303,848, Amendment No. 5 will increase the Contract amount by $935,579.94, for a new total Contract amount of $11,995,419.08.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 20, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605337-19 for Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to Bitfocus, Inc. (SBE) in the amount of $9,118,816.14 to provide services, software licenses, maintenance, support, training and development of data from all homeless service providers in the community to capture basic description information on every homeless person serviced and develop community-specific training programs to support the homeless service providers utilizing HMIS.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was from August 20, 2019 through June 30, 2020, and included the option to                      renew for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user                      requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Amendment No. 1 provided an increase for enrollment, inventory of services, and reporting capabilities for services that were developed in response to COVID 19.

Amendment No. 2 included additional scopes of work to the HMIS system to meet the needs for those affected by COVID-19.

Amendment No. 3 increased the licenses, reporting, configuration and added multiple scopes of work.

Amendment No. 4 provided an increase for licenses and system administration support for more users.

Approval of Amendment No. 5 will provide the extension of the Contract term for up to an additional six (6) months. The attached Amendment No. 5 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Bitfocus, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
