BACKGROUND:
On December 18, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the Qualified Lists of firms under SOQ No. 604940-18 for Professional Services for Real Property Management for Architecture Services Small, Medium, and Large projects, Civil Engineering, Building Commissioning, Cost Estimating, Electrical Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Scheduling, Land Surveying, Fire Protection Consulting, Utilities Coordination and Design, Environmental Assessment, Mechanical Smoke Control Certification and Recertification Commissioning and Registered Roofing Consultants.
This Contract is for the design of the final segments of Wetlands Park Loop Trail within Clark County Wetlands Park, approximately 4.9 mile and construct the Phase 1 portion of trail, estimated at 1.7 miles. The Project will include paving a 12-foot wide asphalt trail and adjacent 20 foot wide service road where required. In addition, the project will connect the Pabco Trailhead, Nature Center through to the Wetlands Loop Trailhead, creating a full paved circuit on the Loop Trail.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract shall be from February 27, 2023 through November 30, 2024.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.
VTN Nevada currently holds a Clark County Business License.
