BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 605736-20, for Nellis Meadows: Park Improvements Nellis Meadows: Irrigation Renovation Nellis Meadows: North Parking Lot Rehabilitation was advertised on November 2, 2020 and opened on June 14, 2021. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract consists of improvements and renovation of an existing 19-acre park, replacement of an existing irrigation system, landscape improvements, and repaving of approximately 36,000 sf. of existing north parking lot.
Additive Alternate No. 1 is for the removal of existing turf in both field areas, level out field and replace with Bermuda Hybrid Tifway 419 Turf.
Additive Alternate No. 2 is for the removal of existing chain link fence, gates and footings at BMX track and replace with new wrought iron fencing and gates.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 300 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
