2022 Account for Affordable Housing Trust Funds for Social Service

Additional Comments:

The initial Agreement amount was $1,834,108. Amendment No. 1 has no fiscal impact.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is to provide Clark County Social Service trust funds to assist with tenant based rental assistance, emergency assistance, security/utility deposits, rental housing development, and rental housing rehabilitation.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2024.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will extend the Agreement term through June 30, 2025. The attached Amendment No.1 document details the modifications involved.
