BACKGROUND:
The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has approved and programmed funds for flood control improvements for the Tropicana Avenue Conveyance between Las Vegas Wash and Boulder Highway project. The project is described in the 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Update (MPU) as Structure Numbers LV01 0001, 0038, 0080, and 0118.
The proposed improvements in the interlocal contract consist of the design of flood control improvements associated with the Tropicana Avenue Conveyance from Wetlands Park to Andover Drive. This project includes facility improvements, drop inlets, geotechnical engineering, utility relocation, survey mapping, ground water analysis, and pavement patches.
The time of performance is effective until June 30, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.
RFCD approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on August 10, 2023.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
