2023 Agreement to Use Account for Affordable Housing Trust Fund

Additional Comments:

The total Agreement award is in the amount of not to exceed $2,918,308.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is to provide Department of Social Service trust funds to assist with tenant based rental assistance, emergency assistance, security/utility deposits, rental housing development, and rental housing rehabilitation.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
