Additional Comments:

The total Contract award was in the amount of $20,875,000. To date, the total Contract amount used is $10,930,767.81. A funding increase was approved for $26,609,587.32. The funding decrease of $510,200.22 will bring the total Contract amount to $46,974,387.10.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On April 20, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605821-21 to Microsoft Corporation (LBE) in the amount of $20,875,000 for software products and to authorize the issuance of purchase orders through Microsoft's reseller CDW Government LLC (LBE).

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement was date of award through October 31, 2027, and included the option to                      renew for one (1) 36-month period. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
•                     Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user                      requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
•                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, or default and suspend the Contract with advanced                      written notice.

This approval will provide a funding decrease and allow an updated Enrollment document to be executed by the Chief Financial Officer.

Microsoft Corporation currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
