BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Hollywood Boulevard between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2026.

Interlocal Contract No. 3041 provides funds for design of the subject project. The improvements along Hollywood Boulevard between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard will include pavement mill and overlay, full depth replacement, utility adjustments, upgrades for compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk repairs, striping and signage updates, and other necessary appurtenances. The term of the contract is effective until June 30, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3041 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on February 12, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
