BACKGROUND:
On December 18, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the Qualified List pursuant to Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) 604940-18, to be used on a rotating basis, for Professional Services for Real Property Management for various County projects. Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects (NBE) is the next firm to be selected from the list.
This Contract is to provide architectural services to design a 143,000 sq. ft. podium comprising a three-story parking garage, 8,400 sq. ft. Fire Station with a 2-bay apparatus offices and staff area requirements, specialized burn tower, 27,000 sq. ft. maintenance building with a parts warehouse, offices and staff working areas. Design will also include on-and off-site improvements such as traffic signalization, landscaping, hardscape, trash enclosures, parking and perimeter fencing with Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects (NBE).
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract shall be from date of award through June 30, 2028, and includes a 3-month extension. Completion of all services shall be prior to June 30, 2028, unless the extension is utilized or such date is amended by Clark County.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.
Carpenter Sellers Del Gatto Architects currently holds a Clark County Business License.
