BACKGROUND:
On November 21, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners appointed Lubawy & Associates, Inc. d/b/a Valbridge Property Advisors (Matthew Lubawy, MAI) to appraise and fix the value of portions of Assessor's Parcel Numbers 176-22-301-004 (April Yu-Wai Yoo) and 176-22-801-003 (James Richard Choate and Diane Demond), 176-22-301-002, 176-22-301-012 and 176-22-201-019 (Blue Rain Partners, LLC, a Nevada Limited Liability Company) and 176-22-801-008 (Daniel Kramer as Trustee of the Remark Revocable Trust dated October 23, 1998, as to an undivided 50% interest and Khusrow Roohani as Trustee of the Khusrow Roohani Family Trust, as to an undivided 50% interest) for consideration of rights-of-way needed for construction of the Blue Diamond Railroad Channel project between Blue Diamond Road and Rainbow Boulevard. Based upon review of the appraisal reports, it was determined that the appraised values are reasonable and within the project's budget.
Authorization to initiate negotiations to acquire the aforementioned parcels is now being sought from the Board.
