Initial contract amount was $500,000. Supplemental Nos. 1 through 5 combined amounts increased the contract by $14,000,000, and revised the total value to $14,500,000. Supplemental No. 6 decrease of $500,000 revises the total value to $14,000,000. RTC will continue to provide funding for all costs associated with this project. Clark County is not obligated to pay any of the costs. |
BACKGROUND:
On November 18, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1319 for the FAST Lot C: Traffic Signal Detection, Repair, and Replacement project (Clark County Public Works Project No. PW.R262CFT) to repair and replace traffic signal detection devices at various locations throughout jurisdictions within Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Entities"). The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on December 7, 2021.
Five supplementals to Interlocal Contract No. 1319 were previously approved to increase total funds to procure and install detection systems at intersections identified to have faulty detection, and to repair and replace specified detection equipment devices and other supporting equipment and infrastructure.
Supplemental No. 6 to Interlocal Contract No. 1319 decreases the contract amount due to scope changes.
RTC has prepared the sixth supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the sixth supplemental contract at its meeting on May 22, 2025.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the sixth supplemental contract as to form.
