BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 607369-24, for Tropicana Avenue, Durango Drive to Jones Boulevard was advertised on December 12, 2024 and opened on January 30, 2025.  The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for roadway resurfacing and related improvements on Tropicana Avenue from Durango Drive to Jones Boulevard. Roadway improvements to include rehabilitate or reconstruct pavement, cold planing, plantmix bituminous surface and base, UTACS, curb and gutter reconstruction, sidewalk, sidewalk reconstruction, sidewalk ramps, sidewalk ramp reconstruction, median construction, utility adjustments, LED luminaire replacement, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) conduit, upgrade/replace all signage; traffic control devices, traffic signal modifications, and pavement markings along with associated traffic control and dust control.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 250 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
