Amendment No. 1 has no fiscal impact. The total Contract amount remains the same in the amount not to exceed $16,303,185.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 17, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 607318-24 for Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to Bitfocus, Inc. (SBE) in the amount of $16,303,185 to provide services, software licenses, maintenance, support, training and development of data from all homeless service providers in the community to capture basic description information on every homeless person serviced and develop community-specific training programs to support the homeless service providers utilizing HMIS.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, and included the option                      to renew for 6, one-year periods.  There are 5 renewal options remaining.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for an additional Scope of Work to create a unit and bed management tracking system within the Inventory Module. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.

Bitfocus, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
