BACKGROUND:

On January 10, 2019, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1057 for the project for Casino Drive from Needles Highway to Harrah's Hotel in Laughlin, Nevada (Project No. PW.R00221A) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Direct Distribution Funds.

On February 19, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1057 providing funds for engineering for the project.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 1057 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $1,500,000 for this project.

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
