BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood control improvements. On August 12, 2021, RFCD approved an interlocal contract for design of the Sunset Park Storm Drain between Duck Creek Wash and Eastern Avenue project (Public Works No. PW.FCLA14X). The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on September 21, 2021.

Supplemental No. 2 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the contract for the project from June 30, 2026, to June 30, 2029, as the project is still under design. The current total contract value for the subject project is $2,130,000.

RFCD approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on June 11, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
