BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Vegas Valley Drive from the Las Vegas Wash to Los Feliz Street project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds. On November 3, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1233 providing funds for engineering for the subject project.

Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 1233 provides additional funds to cover the expanded scope which now includes design of roadway improvements on Vegas Valley Drive from Nellis Boulevard to Lamb Boulevard, and a traffic signal at Vegas Valley Drive and Hollywood Boulevard. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2025, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on June 13, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
