BACKGROUND: 

The Small Business Administration (SBA) grant will fund the conversion of the Small Business Opportunity Program (SBOP) to a virtual training platform and other upgrades.  This is a multi-phase project that includes program and curriculum development, integration of a virtual learning system to the department website, on-going maintenance/updates to the technology platform as well as promotion of the new SBOP and other small business development programs.

The initial grant period runs from June 1, 2023 - December 31, 2023.  The grant period extension will add 12-months with the new grant period ending December 31, 2024.
