Various CCPW storm drainage improvements and repairs

Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $800,000 and Supplemental Nos. 1 through 7 combined amounts increased contract by $2,973,699.23 for a total of $3,773,699.23. Supplemental No. 8 increase of $145,339 revises the total contract value to $3,919,038.23, for services to be requested by work order, with funding from any of the abovementioned sources.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On June 20, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. to provide engineering services for various Clark County Department of Public Works storm drainage improvements and repairs, as needed on a work order request format.

Supplemental No. 8 to the professional engineering service contract is needed to provide additional design and construction support to the existing work order for the Searchlight West Storm Drain project.  

CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved this eighth supplemental contract as to form.
