BACKGROUND:

On July 14, 2016, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 906 for the Jones Boulevard between Erie Avenue and Blue Diamond Road (a/k/a Jones Boulevard between Cactus Avenue and Blue Diamond Road) project (No. PW.R033R16) on its annual Capital Improvement Program initially from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.  The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 16, 2016, for engineering and right-of-way for the project.

RTC and the Board subsequently approved four supplemental contracts for increasing total funds, extending the contract term, and changing the funding account.

The attached Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract 906 extends the term of the contract for the project to June 30, 2028, unless further time extensions are granted. The current total contract value for the subject project is $13,700,000.

RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 8, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
