BACKGROUND:
Saab, Inc, (Company) will design, furnish, install, test, validate, and maintain a secure web-hosted Airport Surface Management System application to be utilized by airport stakeholders. This system will be used to manage ramp operations, and to capture and store data on all airport surface movements and all airspace aircraft movements, to and from Harry Reid International Airport.
The initial term of the contract shall be from date of award through June 30, 2029, with two (2) two-year renewal options. The contract amount for the initial term shall not exceed $9,944,777, and each renewal option, if exercised, shall not exceed $3,411,678.
In accordance with NRS 332.115(1)(b), (h), and (i), the services to be performed are professional in nature, include software for computers, and include maintenance and support for software for computers, and are therefore exempt from competitive bidding requirements.
The contract has been approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office.
