BACKGROUND:
On December 15, 2015, Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) entered into a lease agreement with Clark County (County) to occupy ±303 square feet of office space and existing space sufficient for the Kiosk at 55 E Civic Way, Suites 111, 112 & 120 Laughlin, NV (Property) which expires on March 31, 2026, with no options to renew.
SNHD desires to continue occupying the Property.
The new Lease shall be for a term of five (5) years commencing on April 1, 2026, and terminating on March 31, 2031, with five (5) one (1) year options to renew. In consideration of SNHD’s valuable services to the Laughlin community, SNHD shall pay no rent.
The County shall provide utilities and services: water, sewer, gas, electricity, and trash.
Pursuant to NRS 277.050, the Board of Clark County Commissioners (Board) may lease County-owned real property to another public agency without consideration and without advertising for public bids on such terms as authorized by the Board after holding a public hearing at which objections by the public may be heard. The public hearing shall be set for March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
