BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607861-25, for Carey Avenue - Pecos Road to Nellis Boulevard was advertised on February 3, 2026 and opened on February 24, 2026. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction of Carey Avenue from Pecos Road to Nellis Boulevard. The improvements generally consist of removal and replacement of asphaltic pavement, UTACS, removal and installation of median island, adjustment of utility manholes and valves, removal and replacement of sidewalk ramps to meet current standards, pavement markings, sidewalk, curb and gutter, signage, ITS fiber, pull boxes, loop installation at signalized intersections, and other related items of work within the unincorporated area of Clark County, Nevada.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
