BACKGROUND:

On August 9, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Fort Apache Road between Blue Diamond Road and Warm Springs Road project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Funds.

The Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1026 on September 4, 2018, to provide funds for engineering for the subject project.  Supplemental No. 1 to this contract was approved by the Board to increase total funds for engineering.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to this interlocal contract will increase total funds to cover the County's right-of-way costs for this project.

This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund in Fiscal Year 2021.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on April 8, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
