BACKGROUND:
On February 7, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606370-22 for Supervised Visitation Program to M Harris & Associates LLC dba The Therapeutic Solution (WBE) in the not to exceed amount of $3,958,240 for quality ensured visitation services and therapeutic services between biological parents and children who have been removed occurs in a safe and supervised setting.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2023, and included the option to renew for 3, one-year periods. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide an option for County to extend the Contract for an additional eight (8) months for its convenience, to revise the line-item expenses to fee-for-service rates and to include an additional document requirement for invoicing. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
M Harris & Associates LLC dba The Therapeutic Solution currently holds a Clark County Business License.
