This Contract is for a project located in Clark County, Nevada, adjacent to Clark County 215 from just south of Peace Way to just north of Fort Apache Road. The project constructs an approximately 1,635-foot segment of trail connecting the existing Clark County 215 Western Beltway Trail south of Peace Way to the segment north of Fort Apache Road to provide trail continuity. The improvements generally consist of a concrete trail, retaining walls and fencing, ramps, pedestrian bridge, storm drain improvements, landscape grading and mulch, road re-striping, construction traffic control, and other related items of work. The work includes removals and disposal of designated improvements including fencing, gates, bollards, and barrier rail, and other related items of work.

Charleston Boulevard Undercrossing will consist of concrete trail ramps with cast-in-place retaining walls that lead down to 14 foot wide x 12 foot high pre-cast RCB undercrossings at both the CC 215 Charleston Boulevard southbound on-ramp and off-ramp. Headwalls tie the undercrossing to the ramps. A concrete trail connects the two pre-cast RCB undercrossings together and passes underneath the west abutment of the existing Charleston Bridge over CC 215 Beltway. A concrete retaining wall along west side of beltway under the Charleston Bridge will be constructed to elevate trail above beltway. Roadway improvements to include removal and reconstruct portions of Charleston Blvd off-ramp and on-ramp and portions of Charleston Blvd, cold planing, plantmix bituminous surface and base, UTACS, curb and gutter reconstruction, concrete barrier rail, utility adjustments, signage, impact attenuator, pavement markings along with associated traffic control and dust control. Trail improvements to include lights for trail and undercrossing, landscaping rock, removable bollard, chain-link fence, and decorative fence.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
