Developing Non-Lethal Tortoise Aging Methodology

Additional Comments:

The total Agreement award is in the amount not to exceed $325,621 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for understanding the age structure of wild Mojave Desert tortoise populations.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from date of award through September 30, 2027, and includes the option to                      renew for 1, one-year period and includes a 6-month extension.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
