BACKGROUND: 

Nevada Power Company d/b/a NV Energy (NV Energy) has requested an easement within and across the Clark County Flamingo Wash Flood Control Channel adjacent to Interstate 11/US 95 on County-owned property, Assessor's Parcel Numbers 161-07-196-001 and 161-07-596-001, for new electrical improvements. In order to provide the power to a residential development, it is necessary to grant NV Energy an easement within County right-of-way to construct and operate aboveground electrical facilities.

The grant of easement further describes additional terms and conditions as they relate to both the County and NV Energy.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the grant of easement as to form.
