BACKGROUND: 

Protectors of Tule Springs, Inc. acts as the non-profit partner to Ice Age Fossils State Park (“IAFSP”) and Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument (“TUSK”) (collectively, the “Park Units”), providing volunteer assistance and supplemental funding to these park units, and serving as the primary source for public outreach and engagement, and educational outreach to area students and organizations.

The grant award from Clark County will be used to increase awareness and promote use of the Park Units and increase available on-site educational opportunities for Clark County residents through volunteer and event coordination.
