BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607862-25, for Blue Diamond Wash Trail from Durango Drive to Hualapai Way was advertised on March 5, 2026 and opened on April 22, 2026. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for trail improvements along the south side of the Blue Diamond Wash from Durango Drive to Hualapai Way within the existing Clark County flood control right-of-way or immediately adjacent on Clark County owned land. Such improvements are to include, at a minimum, an ADA compliant 12-foot to 15-foot wide paved trail with protective measures where trail may be introduced to erosive wash flows, collapsible bollards, striping, wayfinding signage, an at-grade crossing at Fort Apache Road, connections to existing trail heads on each end of the project alignment, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project within the existing Clark County flood control easement or immediately adjacent on Clark County owned land.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 180 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
