BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) has existing Concession Agreements (Agreements) with AWG Ambassador, LLC., Whittlesea-Bell dba Bell Trans and Bell Limousine, and Kaptyn Nevada, LLC. (Companies) to operate ground transportation services at Harry Reid International Airport. The Amendments will extend the Companies' terms to January 31, 2025.

A roadway study, conducted prior to 2020, recommended several opportunities for parking and ground transportation capital improvements designed to increase roadway throughput and capacity. Since that time, the community has evolved with new special sporting events and other attractions that have impacted passenger patterns. Staff is continuing to analyze the impacts that these changes have on ground transportation services. Staff recommends extending the existing Agreements for two years to further assess the passenger patterns. All other terms and conditions of the Agreements will remain the same.

The Amendments have been approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office. Companies currently hold Clark County Business Licenses.
