Initial contract amount was $4,500,000 and Supplementals 1 and 2 combined amounts increased contract by $475,000 for a total of $4,975,000.  Supplemental No. 3 increase of $1,000,000 revises the total contract value to $5,975,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On April 8, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1265 for the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project (also known as Perkins Field Airport) on its annual Capital Improvement Program.   The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on May 4, 2021.  This project is budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2022.

The County entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Clark County Department of Aviation for the design and construction for the relocation of Airport Road in Moapa Valley.

RTC and the Board subsequently approved two supplementals to the Interlocal Contract No. 1265, including changing the funding account for the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 1265 increases total funds for construction for the project.

RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on June 9, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
