BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is for shared funding between County and Cities of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas based on a population formula to pay for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS), which operates as a client data system of homeless persons and services they have received. County will bill Cities of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas, in turn, after each city approves this Interlocal Agreement.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
• Includes the option to all parties to terminate for any reason prior to the date of termination upon thirty (30) days written notice to all parties.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
