BACKGROUND:
NRS 379.020 provides that the Clark County Board of County Commissioners (County Commission) appoint five (5) competent persons who are residents of the county to serve as district library trustees.
There are two (2) vacancies on the Boulder City Library District Board of Trustees (Board of Trustees). Robin Coppola served as a member of the Board of Trustees from September 5, 2023 until June 1, 2026. She declined reappointment. Additionally, Robert Yoder resigned from the Board of Trustees in December 2025. His seat has remained vacant since that time, and the term expires on June 1, 2026.
Applications were received from the following individuals: Jillian Bleck, Kathryn Yoshida, and Nicholas Cote.
The Board of Trustees have recommended Jillian Bleck and Nicholas Cote to serve new terms until June 2, 2030.
The County Commission is asked to appoint Jillian Bleck and Nicholas Cote for four-year (4-year) terms ending June 2, 2030.
