BACKGROUND:
On April 20, 2023, Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 606613-23 was advertised on the Clark County Purchasing website and in the Las Vegas Review Journal. Proposals were requested for Food Services for CCDC.
A proposal was received from the following firm: Trinity Services Group, Inc. (LBE).
An Ad-Hoc Committee comprised of 5 individuals from Clark County Detention Center reviewed and evaluated the proposal.
Subsequent to the evaluation of the written proposal, the Ad-Hoc Committee agreed that Trinity Services Group, Inc. was qualified to be selected for the project.
A Contract was negotiated for Food Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through October 31, 2024, and includes the option to renew for 4, one-year periods.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature. Pursuant to internal policies and procedures, Clark County solicited these services through the RFP process.
Trinity Services Group, Inc. currently holds a Business License.
