BACKGROUND:
On February 13, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1164 for the Maryland Parkway Bus Rapid Transit: Russell Road to Fremont Street project (Clark County Public Works No. PW.R003ZFT) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension funding for the jurisdictions of Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Member Entities"). The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on July 7, 2020.
The Board and RTC previously approved four supplementals to Interlocal Contract No. 1164.
Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 1164 will add construction funds to begin construction.
RTC approved the fifth supplemental interlocal contract at its meeting on July 11, 2024.
Each of the other Member Entities is scheduled to approve the supplemental contract at their respective Board/Council meetings.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental interlocal contract as to form.
