BACKGROUND:

On August 8, 2013, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 725 for the Carey Avenue between Nellis Boulevard and Toiyabe Street project (No. PW.R016H13) on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On September 3, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 725 providing funds for construction of the project.  Two supplemental contracts were approved extending the contract term and increasing total funds.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 725 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $2,333,000 for this project.

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
