BACKGROUND:

On April 8, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1265 for the Moapa Valley Airport Road Relocation project (also known as Perkins Field Airport) (Project No. PW.R068MFT) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund.

On May 4, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1265 providing funds for construction of the project.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 1265 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $4,500,000 for this project.

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
