BACKGROUND:

On August 13, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1209 for the Intersection Improvements Program:  Fiscal Year 2021 project for design of intersection improvements at various locations throughout Clark County on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On September 15, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1209 with RTC for this project.  The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for additional design engineering services to cover a contract with the design consultant for the project.

The requested additional funds for this project are budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  RTC approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on November 18, 2021.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
