BACKGROUND:

On June 20, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606655-23 to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (NBE) in the amount not to exceed $7,500,000 for physical examinations and utilization of medical services for Clark County employees.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
The term of the Agreement was from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 and included the option to                      renew for 4, one-year periods.  There are 3 renewal options remaining.
Included the option for either party to terminate the Agreement without cause upon giving 30 days written                      notice to the other party.

On June 18, 2024, the Board approved a funding increase that provided for the inclusion of applicable employees from the Department of Juvenile Justice Services.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for revisions in required testing and pricing.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
