BACKGROUND: 

This vehicle (VIN #2FABP7BV0AX110979) has been fully utilized by County Administrative Services and has been retired from service for exceeding the established replacement criteria.  The Nye County District Attorney has a need to add a reliable duty vehicle to its fleet for the safe transporting of witnesses/victims, conducting follow up investigations and subpoena service.

In accordance with NRS Chapter 334.030, a governmental entity may enter into a contract with another governmental entity for the purchase of surplus personal property without the necessity of bidding.

The District Attorney has approved the Resolution and Contract for Sale form.
