BACKGROUND:

The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements.  On November 18, 2021, Clark County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for the Blue Diamond Wash between Arville Street and Interstate 15 (I-15) project.  The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on December 7, 2021.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract increases total funds for construction and construction management for the project.

This project is approved on RFCD's Ten-Year Construction Program, and described in its 2018 Clark County Flood Control Master Plan Update as Structure No. BDWA 0276.  RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on June 9, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
