BACKGROUND:
On June 24, 2026, Clark County and the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1908, Supervisory Unit (IAFF BC) reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2026. The IAFF BC membership voted and ratified the agreement on July 1, 2026.
Of the agreement, twelve (12) articles were amended. One (1) Rules and Regulations was amended.
Attachment I contains the summary of changes.
Attachment II contains the proposed entire agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.
Attachment III is Rules and Regulations 2.1 Battalion Chief Duties and Responsibilities including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/underlined and deleted language stricken.
Attachment IV is the IAFF BC Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.
Attachment V is the IAFF BC Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreement for sixteen (16) impacted IAFF BC positions.
