BACKGROUND: 

The Board of Hospital Trustees are required to conduct a periodic review of the Bylaws of University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.  Upon review, it is recommended that the Bylaws of University Medical Center of Southern Nevada be amended.  The proposed amendments relate to the new CMS hospital accreditation surveyor for the hospital and minor language revisions.
 
The UMC Governing Board at its meeting on February 26, 2025, recommended the approval of the proposed amendments to the Bylaws of University Medical Center of Southern Nevada by the Board of Hospital Trustees.
