BACKGROUND: 

The Vietnamese-American Community of Las Vegas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation (VACLV), has requested to lease ±1,064 square feet of office space at Cambridge Community  Resource Center located at 3900 Cambridge St., Suite 110,  Las Vegas, NV 89119 to provide essential services to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. 

Pursuant to NRS 244.284, Clark County (County) may enter into a lease without the provision of rent or the requirements to auction to a corporation for public benefit as defined in NRS 82.021.

VACLV was established in 2015 and its mission is to connect the AAPI community with others, promote cultural preservation, enrich social and economic well-being, and encourage civic engagement, to improve the lives of Vietnamese Americans in Las Vegas. VACLV will provide social activities and other cultural services including translation to non-English speaking residents, referring seniors to necessary agencies for further assistance, helping students and parents find suitable schools for their children, hosting school supplies and holiday donation drives, offering citizenship study courses, providing scholarships and guidance to students, and offering health and legal consultations through volunteer professionals.

The initial term of the Lease is one (1) year lease with four (4) one (1) year options.
