BACKGROUND: 

On January 17, 2023, the board approved a grant agreement and membership agreement whereby the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) granted $3,000,000 to Clark County to assist with increasing efficiency in processing ballots and providing additional facility improvements at the Election Center on Trade Drive.  Grant funds have been utilized to purchase new mail ballot equipment, tabulation equipment, replace our signage and enhance our security throughout the Election Center.

As part of the grant award, Clark County entered into a membership agreement with CTCL.  The Election Department requests the Board approve the same membership for 2024 and accept the scholarship offered by CTCL to provide a Premium Membership for the Election Department.
